Ælfred Rex Bible Curriculum
The curriculum consists of two series: Bible Story Lessons (suggested for ages 5-9) and Scripture Studies (suggested for age 9 and above, including adults). Both series follow the same story schedule. The stories of the Bible are covered chronologically through six curriculum units, A-F. Each unit contains 70-80 lessons, including several lessons for the seasons pertaining to Christmas and Easter.

C: David’s Kingdom to Elisha F: Passiontide to Revelation
The worksheets in the Bible Story Lessons series for younger students reinforce and highlight certain aspects of the stories, also providing classic artwork that students may color.
For older students and adults, the worksheets in the Scripture Studies series augment the stories by promoting student searching of Scripture. As they complete the worksheets, students will begin to see how Scripture interprets Scripture and that common themes and images are woven throughout the Bible. The worksheets correspond most closely to the NKJV and ESV. Students may also use the KJV or NASB to complete the worksheets.
For each of the six units, A-F, these three books are available:
Student Worktext includes the printed stories and accompanying worksheets (for schools, individuals, and adult classes).
Student Workbook includes the worksheets only. (For weekly church classes, especially children’s Sunday School, this and the appropriate Teacher’s Guide are all that is necessary.)
Teacher’s Guide includes tips for teachers (in church, school, and home), the printed stories, an answer key to the worksheets, short-answer review questions with game ideas, and memory work suggestions.
